Union Project seeks to promote community involvement, stewardship and civic engagement through volunteerism.

Become part of our community of over 3,000 volunteers who have helped make Union Project what it is today. In fact, our co-founders, staff and board all bring a wealth of volunteer and service experiences that have helped shape the UP service model we continue today. Join us and share your gifts of service in fun and unique ways! Bring friends or meet new ones. Volunteers enjoy fun and meaningful projects that range from restoring our stained glass windows, painting and general building upkeep, weeding and planting our exterior green space, street team outreach, and acting as event docents. Volunteers are key to how Union Project leverages its limited resources and furthers its mission.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to volunteer and/or be notified of future opportunities to volunteer, please contact Abbie Miller at 412-363-4550 or abbie@unionproject.org. We appreciate your service and are happy to design experiences for individuals and groups on a one-time, annual, monthly or even weekly basis. Special team-building opportunities for your agency’s staff or board are also available.
